About Us
Dominique and I first met years ago at our kids' daycare, where we quickly bonded over a shared love of storytelling. As we got to know each other, we realized that our combined professional background spans the entire filmmaking process—from development all the way through post-production. It gave us a rare perspective: the ability to see both the forest and the trees, not just in the script, but as the story takes shape through production and into the edit. This organically evolved into a distinctive collaborative process all our own.
As we began working together on film and TV projects, we developed a kind of shorthand—a set of screenwriting tricks, tools, and techniques that became not only the backbone of our own work, but a resource we now use to support and guide other writers.
We’re called Death or Story because that sums up how we feel about storytelling - there’s no point in living if you can’t express yourself. And let's face it, everything in life is a story.
And also that Clash song…

I'm a writer, filmmaker and musician with a passion for communicating ideas, whether it's my own screenplays or workshopping someone else's concepts. Process to me is the same as living in the moment - it's the only way to be happy.
Screenplays I’ve written have aired on Netflix, Amazon, Peacock, CBC, UPtv, INSP and more. I wrote Hallmark's The Jane Mysteries: Murder at Moseby which aired fall 2024, and my camp thriller for Lifetime Television, Hunting Housewives, starring Denise Richards, aired Spring 2024 - both produced by Brain Power Studios. In March 2025, I've got two TV movies coming out on Hallmark in a four-picture series called The Hearts of Robin Lane. I co-directed the TV romance Christmas Time Capsule for UPtv’s 2023 holiday season, and my screenplay Snowbound for Christmas was the #4 Netflix movie in December 2021. I was a lead writer on the one-hour drama The Wedding Planners and my award-winning feature film Goldirocks (2004) was released theatrically in Canada. If you want more ME, visit my website.

I'm a script consultant and screenwriter with 15+ years experience in storytelling. I analyze screenplays and teleplays to provide writers with thoughtful feedback focused on the development of character, theme and structure.
I lived and worked in Los Angeles, California for many years as a picture editor on feature films and television, which is where I honed my story skills. Working on shows like Project Runway and Keeping Up With The Kardashians, I was tasked with putting "reality" together in the cutting room for maximum dramatic impact, liaising with producers, writers and directors to come up with compelling story that keeps eyeballs glued to the screen. Coming up with creative solutions to on-the-fly story problems in the edit bay sharpened my analytical acumen and honed my instincts for bridging and shaping larger picture ideas without losing sight of detailed nuance.Today I live in Prague, Czech Republic with my two kids. I work with clients all over the world on television pilots, feature screenplays, short stories, fiction and nonfiction manuscripts and more.
