    Your act one not only needs to pull your audience in, it serves as the navigational system of your story engine. Getting it right is crucial and it’s not always straightforward.  
     
  • Written critique of your Act 1 with a specific focus on its role as the set-up or hook to your story as a whole. 
  • Areas of focus include:
    • Character and arc anchoring
    • Introduction of stakes 
    • World creation
    • Structure
    • Thematic definition
  • In addition to the written critique, you will also receive a marked-up copy of your script with comments and scene-level feedback.

  • This one-on-one session is for all levels of writers, from complete beginners to professionals.

    • Upon payment of $300 USD, you will receive a confirmation of your order via email and a request to schedule your session. 

    • Session scheduling is flexible but generally excludes weekends.

    • Class handouts will be sent to all students the day after the session.

    • Sessions are for adults 18 years of age and up.

    • Death or Story can refund your money for this session within 7 days of purchase.
