Join us for a 90 minute workshop and Q&A all about the fundamental parts of a screenplay. Learn how to write a logline that works as a mini map of your script and how a basic main character sketch and rudimentary plot structure can set you up for success. The workshop is full of movie and TV show examples (contemporary & classic) to help you connect with the material and inform your personal writing journey.

  • No prerequisites: this class is for all levels of writers, from complete beginners to professionals.

     

    • Payment of $25 USD is required to receive login information.

    • You will receive a link to the workshop GoogleMeet the day before the session.

    • The first hour will be teaching, then 30 minutes of Q&A, but you are able to comment throughout the session and see comments of others. 

    • Class handouts will be sent to all students the day after the session.

    • Workshops are for adults 18 years of age and up.

    • Death or Story workshops under $50 are not eligible for a refund. If you cannot attend, please contact us to use the credit for another workshop.
